Privileged Access Management Processes

 

To run a successful implementation of a Privileged Access Management (PAM) tool, it is important to align the PAM strategy with an Identity Access Management strategy.

 

The PAM processes must be a part of an account life cycle management process, and any PAM tool needs to be a part of this process.

 

Different account types require different lifecycle management processes and the PAM tool needs to be configured to support these differences.

 

By using well defined PAM processes it is possible to automate them, and remove the human mistakes from the account management process that often leads to users with knowledge of too many privilege account passwords and accesses.
